MAI Image 2.6 and 2.6 Flash are available in image generation and image editing, with 2.6 Flash the new Microsoft default. Both render at 2K, against 1K across the 2.5 family, and both cost more per image than their 2.5 counterparts because of it.
Both also carry a Web Grounding toggle, which lets the model pull current details from Bing when your prompt names real people, places, or events. The 2.5 models remain available, and 2.5 Pro is still the only Pro in the line.
